Derry Township Community Cats can always use volunteers to help with trapping and transporting cats, fosters who can care for kittens or sick cats for several weeks or months, people who can help with feeding and caring for the cats pre - and post-surgery. One of our largest expenses each year is the medical bills for the cats. This is especially true for the kittens who need distemper shots, deworming, defleaing, and a full medical exam before they are ready for their surgeries and to enter the adoption programs of our local rescue Cocoa Kitties (www.cocoakitties.org) in Hershey.
We also welcome donations made directly to our account at our fabulous veterinarian's office: Animal Health Care Center of Hershey.
